Do driveway cut-ins or access roads require permits?
Short answer, yes.
In Teller County, any work in the right-of-way requires an Access permit and for the work to be performed by a Contactor licensed for Full Excavation (Listed as a Driveay license on the Teller County Contractor Search). A driveway permit is recommended on vacant property, but is not required until a new home is built on the property. Keep in mind, new driveways on vacant land should still be built to current code to avoid any issues down the road.
In Park County, an excavation permit is required for any new driveways, and accesss and driveway must meet current Park County Code requirements.
At Peak DirtWorks, we don't cut corners. We work with County Inspectors to ensure driveways, especially those accessing steep mountainous properties, are done correctly and approved/inspected by the County.
Do you install cisterns?
Yes, we can excavate for and set cisterns. We can also trench for utility lines, and we work with municipalities and community water providers to connect to neighborhood water services.
